Pre-Festival Attire

The Pre-Festival Dance Committee has chosen the fabric "A Day at the Beach" by Springs Creative. This fun fabric is a border print that brings back memories of making sand castles on the beach and jumping the waves as they come rolling in.

The dress is any design of your choice. We want you to have fun, be creative, and pick your own style. The fabric is available from Carolyn Smith, Cindy Markos, Suzi Froberg and Jimette Smith. It is $7.00 per yard. We recommend a minimum of 6 (six) yards. Cindy Markos, The Square Apparel/Suzi's Ruffles (Suzi Froberg) and Rhythm Creations (Jimette Smith) can also make your outfit.

Ideas on how to use the fabric include an over skirt, a skirt and a dress. We don't want the guys left out. They'd look great in a vest or with the "beach" as a yolk on a shirt or a band across the chest like the fancy western shirts.

Dress has 5" pre-gathered eyelet ruffle with 4" top self-ruffle. Skirt is 8 gores. Ribbon on skirt is Offray satin 1017SFS YELGLD 1H (sold by spool at JoAnn's.) Blouse has round neckline with eyelet and self-ruffle. Also eyelet and self-ruffle on sleeve.
